Privacy Policy — "Minbar Remote" App

Minbar Remote is a companion app that remotely controls the "Minbar" Windows desktop software used on mosque display screens, over a local Wi‑Fi connection.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app requires no account, login, name or email. We do not collect device identifiers, location, contacts, or any analytics data.

Device Permissions

• Camera: Used only to locally scan a QR code to pair the phone with the Minbar desktop app. Camera images are never stored or sent to any server.
• Local network / Internet: Used only to connect to the Minbar desktop program on your own local network (WebSocket). No data is sent to any servers operated by us.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. The app contains no ads and no tracking tools.

Data Security

Communication between the phone and the desktop program is local to your network, and pairing is secured with a PIN and trusted devices. Control data never leaves your local network.

Children

The app is intended for mosque administrators (adults) and is not directed at children.
